If you are not a professional investor, you must meet a series of requirements before investing with Crescenta

- Prior experience as an investor
- Leave a written record that you are aware of the investment's risks
- Invest in the long term (over five years)
- Have assets worth at least €100,000*
*You may invest a minimum of €10,000 if this amount does not represent more than 10% of your assets, and provided that you do so under our financial advisory service. More information about risks and conditions here
As a professional investor
There are two types of professional investors: per se professional investors, which are mainly institutions and major corporations, and y los professional investors through an application
In order to obtain the status of a professional investor through an application, you must meet two of these three requirements (2/3):
- Your assets are worth more than €500,000
- You have carried out a significant volume of operations within this scope
- You have held a position in the financial sector that requires specific knowledge
Once we receive your application and confirm that the information is correct, you will become a professional investor. You can return to a retailer status at any time if you request it
As a retail investor
The most simple way to define retailers is by exclusion, i.e. they are customers that do not fit into the professional category due to having less experience and/or knowledge
Unlike professionals, they have higher protection levels. This means that if you want to invest with Crescenta, we will ask you for information through the suitability test, to get to know you better and help you make investment decisions
Did you know...?
Until recently, investment in private capital was only within reach of wealthy investors
This has changed since the entry into force of the Spanish Create and Growth Law, which reduces the investment limits from €100,000 to €10,000 (€2,000/year)*, provided that investors receive appropriate advice
Crescenta is established as a result of this Law with the aim of providing access to the private markets
* disbursed over five years in a conventional scenario
